Just a thought....

You plan on going to 3rd party support at the end of support in 2006? Are you familiar enough with the 3rd party service vendors in your area to take that leap on faith or
perhaps you should switch over early to get a feel for who is competent in your area BEFORE HP has left the picture? If you make the jump now HP is your parachute, if you
jump in 2006 there is no parachute.

Just a thought.
