Oh, lordy, lordy, lordy! They've gone and done what I've always feared they
do! They removed my 5.0 and 5.5 text-based manuals!
Those manuals were the closest thing you could ever have to a high-speed,
on-line help -- and I've really come to depend on them. No fancy fonts, no
slow speed searches, no incredibly slow speed PDF downloads. Just Courier
text and high-speed links. If you already reasonably well know MPE, those
pages were invaluable. I could find anything in just a second or two and have
it up my screen, using any PC anywhere in the world.
The most pressing question I have now is who do I have to bribe to get them
back on-line? And how much?
