If you are wanting to truly change the printer class you will need to
make that change in SYSGEN.  As Donna said, what you are changing in
NPCONFIG is just a comment.

considering that what you're wanting to change is in a comment area, i'd
say make the change :-)

i'll also recommend switching away from hard-coded ip addresses to dns
names.  makes managing printers easier.       - d

I seem to recall a problem using class names > 4 characters.

If I change LPC7 in the example below to an 8 character string, does
anyone 
know of any problems that might result.
