J.H. Smith asks:

Yes! From the IBM FTP session, while connected to the 3000, do

        ftp> rhelp site

to get the list of allowed commands. The last one is STREAM.
So, to stream a job on the 3000 from an ftp session on the IBM, use

        ftp> site stream filename

The part I can't figure out is that you can type

        ftp> site mpe/ix
        200 MPE/iX command ok.

but I don't know what this means. (It doesn't say "MPE/iX command allowed."
Is it just saying "Yep, I see you sent the ol' MPE/iX command"?)
