I realize Trandebug/iX would not be a major issue for all Transact
sites.  But think it's fair to say that for those who developed large,
complex systems using Transact/iX, Trandebug was not just helpful,
it was critical;  we couldn't have done what we did without it....  I
remember from the "old days" stories from the Lab;  about how one
or more third-party "semi-competitors" bought NM Transact just so
they could get a detailed look at Trandebug/iX...

Anyway, as per my previous on some list somewhere:  Until the dust
settles on what future MPE and TurboIMAGE might have after 2006,
spending much time gaming "what ifs" for Transact is likely getting
ahead of the things....  "Preferred outcome" in my mind is still being
able to run Transact under MPE;  regardless of what hardware MPE
is running on.....  time will tell....
