Before the defragger wars and associated vendor plugs start up again
<grin>, lets me keep the record straight by noting that Lars' use of the
term "FREE SPACE" is critically important. VOLUTIL's CONTIGVOL command
will attempt to consolidate free space into larger pieces, but does not
do any file extent consolidation. You end up with just as many
permanent file extents as you started with. This differentiates the
bundled (free) volutil contigvol from the commercial defraggers.
