IIRC PP1 for 6.5 is due in September.

SG's "backward compatibility" problem was encountered when they started
compiling code on a 6.5 system and discovered that they couldn't ship the
binary modules to customers on pre-6.5 systems (XL modules - due to new
externals in 6.5 that weren't present on pre-6.5). Other vendors discovered
this too, but most chose various workarounds... I believe SG just gave up
and updated their machine back to an earlier version. :-(
