Tom,
We have also tried to do this directly, and via a couple of different types
of print server units, all without success. We are moving to slave them off
a PC, with our own home grown despooling code.
Also tried serial impact printers without success - the MPE PCL code
confuses every unit we have tried so far.

Subject: [HP3000-L] Zebra Printer Networking

The newer Stripe Zebra printers come with a parallel
and serial port and they also sell a print server to connect
to a network.

I wondered if anyone on the list is using Zebra label printers
on their networks and whether it is possible to send a spoolfile
to a networked Zebra printer from an HPe3000. It seems
as though the answer is no, but it never hurts to ask.

I am currently using Zebra printers via DTC ports.
