Wirt's posts in response to this is a typical tactic taught in
Liberalism 101.
You will notice that he did not actually address the content of the
post, but instead questioned the direct involvement and then the quality
and future prospects of the officer. The little jab at how this
threatened free journalism was thrown in to add spice.
This is a the single most common method used by liberals to deal with
information that disagrees with their world view. When you cannot
disprove or otherwise deal directly with the content, distract from the
content by attacking the messenger's integrity, personality and hygiene.
