Greetings, MPE Friends:
 
I've been lurking and learning for awhile, now, but it's time to
jump in and say hi and thanks for all the great tips.  My first
post is not an answer, but a question:
 
We are upgrading from a 947LX on 4.0 to a 939KS which will ship
with 5.0 (yes!).  I've done a number of OS upgrades, but I've
never been cocky about a single one.  I hope that's why they all
went pretty smoothly.  :)
 
Can anyone help with experiences, pitfalls, etc. that would help
us get through this as smoothly as possible?  Is it necessary to
bring our 947 up to 5.0 before the change?  Any and all replies
are valued (to the list or my email address).
 
I apologize if this has been covered recently, but I'm a month
behind on the postings here.
