Which reminds me of my pet plea to all posters to seriously consider
trimming down the quoted snippets from original postings when replying.

Please take a few seconds to trim it down to the essential section that
you refer to (instead of simply attaching the whole posting verbatim).

By spending these few seconds you save many many subscribers more than
just a few seconds when wading through HP3000-L postings. And you keep
the threaded archives short and helpful. What will your return on this
investment be? Others might do the same with their postings and give the
benefit to you (and all the other posters and lurkers).
