As reported in today's USA Today:

* It will take 2 years to cut the projected
  15,000 jobs lost due to integration of hp/cpq

* hp printers stay, anything cpq had goes
* ipaq stays, jornada goes
* hp pavilion and cpq presario stay
* cpq evo business pc stays, hp vectra business pc goes
* cpq proliant server stays, hp netserver goes

And the most intriguing development:

"it [hpq] will sell more products directly to business
customers as opposed to via resellers"

No commentary yet on big-iron/hp-ux/true-64/vms/etc...
