Sorry, I thought I'd posted this...but...I now realize I didn't send it
to HP3000-L, just to the individual poster...
The firmware of the 935 (and 925 and 949, AFAIK), has no problems with
the year 2000 (I've tested it).
I set the clock (via ISL> CLKUTIL) to 1999/12/31 23:59, and it properly
rolled over to 2000/01/01. I set the clock to 2000/02/28 23:59, and it
properly rolled over to 2000/02/29.
The items mentioned by some people (e.g., STREAM), are MPE/iX problems that
have been (or will be) fixed, and which you will be able to run with
no problem on a 925/935/949 (assuming you are on software support).
HP apparently said to themselves: "The 925/935/949 will be past the end
of their support life prior to 1999/12/31, so we don't have to check them",
without realizing the impact it would have on customers.
