I think you can reach them at, [log in to unmask], but I'm not 100%
certain. I think I saw this somewhere, but I've never tried to use it.
I've also had the same concern about their lack of e-mail and web access.
They may have some issues over the cost of implementing this, but I've
never gotten an explanation when I've asked, except something like, we just
don't have it.

Subject: VESOFT have EMAIL?

We're a VESOFT customer and just installed MPEX Ver. 27.81128. I have a
non-urgent question that does not deserve the expense and immediate
response of a long distance call, especially since Vesoft doesn't offer
an 800#. Perfect for Email. Yet, I can't seem to find an Email address
for Vesoft Support on any of the documentation I've ever gotten from
Vesoft. I also tried an Altavista search on "Vesoft", hoping to find a
Web site. No luck.

If anyone from VESOFT reads this, please Email me at
[log in to unmask] and let me know if you have an Email address for a
simple, non-urgent question about my MPEX Install.

In the meantime, here's my MPEX question:
I just installed Vesoft 27.81128. In cleaning up some un-needed files,
I accidentally deleted two files that page A-42 of my manual shows with
an Exclamation Point (!) beside them: VEPROC.JOB.VESOFT and
VEPROCNM.JOB.VESOFT. The description of VEPROCNM implies it's used by
Security/3000, which we don't have. Is this a problem? If so, how do
I restore these two files?

If indeed VESOFT, supporting 6,000 MPEX sites alone, has no Email
capability for Tech. Support, I would find it mind-boggling. Most other
HP3000 Software companies I deal with have Toll-Free Support#'s,
WEB-SITES, and, of course, Email capability. If this is true, why does
Vesoft seem to lag so far behind in such fundamental ways of
communicating? It can't be a financial problem, 6,000 times $680 per
clip could certainly afford an email connection! ...Blows my mind.
