See "Why Buy Thin Clients?" at
http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/thinclients/target_market.html, which
shows the t5000. True to hp's marketing (motto: "We pass the savings on to
you"), there is nothing next to the picture to give you a sense of scale. I
would choose a Frisbee (tm). I've seen these in use at CostCo. That page has
a link to "Thin Clients" at
http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/us/en/sm/WF04a/12454-321959-89307-338927-89307.html.
You have your choice of XP Embedded, Linux 2.4, and CE. The latter helps
makes it unlikely than the former that you'll have problems with folks
installing iTunes, WebSearch or Smiley Central. Prices range from $509 to
$289. There are Remote Desktop clients for CE, so you can centralize with
real sessions running on Terminal Server(s).

Isn't there a saying that you can never be too thin or too rich?
