I agree with Tracy - you may need to reseat all the memory sticks in the carrier... when Tim Ericson (remember him??? :) ) and I upgraded memory on one of Willamette Dental's 3k's ... we had a similar experience.... reseating all memory sticks helped :)

Yes but I think you have to roll up the memory sticks so there are no gaps in the mandatory memory stick order.
They can also be off in seating.
