Oh yeah, it was really 'self-explanatory' that in
order to use "TERMDSM" I had to find the "run"
command in "cstm".

Even list members couldn't point me in the
right direction until the fifth reply. Replies
1 through 4 tried to tell me I had to have a
patch I neither wanted nor cared for.

No offense to those that wanted to help, but I
wanted to run it then, and not take the system
down for a patch. All I wanted to know was
where it was in the menu.

cstm, yeah... easy... sure, uh-huh.

P.S. Is there a manual out for it yet?

"MPE/iX System Utilities Reference Manual
900 Series HP 3000 Computer Systems
HP Part Number: 32650-90882
E0300
Printed in U.S.A. March 2000"

(Lifted straight from my HP dynatext CD)

contains a Chapter 28 on TERMDSM which does
mention to go into cstm and do the "ru termdsm"
command.

Also from:

"Communicator 3000 MPE/iX Release 6.5 (Non-Platform Software Release
C.65.00)
HP 3000 MPE/iX Computer Systems
Volume 11, Issue 1
HP Part Number: 30216-90291
E0300
Printed in U.S.A. March 2000"

Chapter 4 "Data Center Management" discusses
STM in a broad sense. I'm still searching for
something more "in depth" on it however.

Of course the first time I needed to use this
utility after our 6.5 upgrade, I didn't know this
information either, so I understand the frustration.
