I think he's asking for both '@' and '*' to be valid at the same time. Since
neither character is valid in either an MPE or a Posix filename (except the
MPE case of *backreference, but I can't offhand think of a case where the
CI allows wildcards and backreferences at the same time (oops, you enhanced
:PURGE didn't you)) might it not be possible to do this? At least for ls in
the SHell, and :LISTF[ILE] in the CI?

Um, it works ok from the SHell I believe. It's just CI Command Files that
lack this feature right now, correct?
