It's been too long since I did this so I'm trying to remember the details.

I've created a tape using Patchix phase I. Now do I still use the patch
tape on a
second system (identical system)?

In the past we have copied the files in the INSTALL.SYS group to a second
system
then done an UPDATE on the second system with a CSLT from the first system.
We
follow with an UPDATE (with Phase I tape from the first system) then we do
phase II of Patchix on the second system (skipping the phase I step).

Seems to me I can eliminate taking the tapes to the second system (long
distance) if they can
be copied over a NS/DS line. If they are both CSLT tapes I can copy them to
disk. So
is the tape created out of Patchix phase I a CSLT or some type of unique
patch tape?
