here's an interesting albeit theoretical solution. what if we had the native
(that is -- from pure mpe) ability to limit the size of a print file for a
particular printer? then larry might have his problem solved.
i am aware of least one 3rd-party spooler vendor that offers this in their
software. that is, the 3rd-party spooler will not release a print file unless
it is smaller than the configured limit. if the print file is too big -- it
just waits until someone does something (redirects it to another printer or
deletes it).
i think this would be a helpful enhancement to mpe. - d
