Dear Listers

We are about to reconstruct a 959/400, replacing a "farm" of old and new
disks with new disks in HASS enclosures.

We have decided to use the internal disks (1 x 4GB and 3 x 9GB) as the
System Volume, and make each of the four fully populated HASS's separate
private volumes.

The questions are:-

Is there any problem foreseen (performance?) if we place the production
accounts in their entirety on the HASS's?

Also, what is the best way of achieving this? I have looked at
BULDACCT.PUB.SYS, and I it looks very helpful.

I think that we could :-

store @[log in to unmask],@[log in to unmask]@[log in to unmask]@.sys;*t;directory
        make an SLT
        rebuild the machine
install the system with the SLT
        restore *t;;directory
        restore *t;@[log in to unmask];keep;create;olddate
use buldacct to reposition certain production accounts using
fromvs and vsacct
restore *t;@[log in to unmask]@[log in to unmask]@.sys;create;olddate
fight with utilities and subsystems that require tweaking
        test until reasonably satisfied
store @[log in to unmask],@[log in to unmask]@[log in to unmask]@.sys;*t;directory

I know I must have missed something, but I'm hoping that if we hold our
mouths just right and cross our fingers, we can achieve this.

All help/hints greatly appreciated.

Neil Harvey
