I vaguely remember when migrating to MPE/iX that the capability to do
remote sessions became an extra cost option to NS/3000.

It's a long time ago and I can't remember the service that is needed.

Bruce.

Subject: Remote hello

I have access to a 928RX machine. While trying to perform a task I
decided to 'loop back' and try to establish a 'remote session'. While
the 'dsline' command worked the 'remote hello' did not.

:dsline l=hpayburl
ENVIRONMENT 1: L.BUR ....(actual node name removed)
:remote hello manager.sys
Local vt service has not been started. (CIERR 5036)
Remote hello failed. (CIERR 5082)
Remote command error. (CIERR 5402)

I thought that the proper modules were installed and I'd be able to
establish a 'remote' session. Below is the output of "NMMAINT ,6".
Does
anyone see what module I may be missing from the NS3000/XL product?
