We have 2 serial line printers and several networked laser
printers. We are having a problem with the serial printers
coming unspooled during a print job. There are long pauses
during the printing and sometimes the printing continues and
other times the printer comes unspooled. This does not happen
to the laser networked printers.

Is there a configuration item for printers that sets the
amount of, for lack of a better word, idle time before the
system unspools the device?
