Children, children, children........  Texaco Star Theater with my
grandparents.... before it became the Milton Berle Show......  only took me
another 50 years to appreciate his genius....
Gene Autry visited Philadelphia, with Champion...  got to sit on that
lovely horse (ok, at that age ANY horse was lovely!)...  and later, Cisco
Kid put in an appearance.  I was SORELY disappointed, because Diablo was
impersonated by a tobiano that genuinely didn't look the part.  Couldn't
those durned promoters tell the difference between an overo and a
tobiano?????
