Yes, I read the manual.  Don't fully understand it all since I don't
understand the HP.  The company's IS guy said that he had it set for
Mode 1 and he was trying to make it Mode 5 (maybe the other way
around.  We only had read access, but we were only trying to read).  I
got the feeling he didn't know much about the database itself.

I know absolutely nothing about it.  We are going to give it another
shot shortly.  I am going to take one of my database guys who knows
Access and SQL and see if we can get them to "show us" exactly what
they did in making the database.

I was concerned that the ODBC driver being an SE version may lack
something that we need to fully implement what we are trying to do.  I
can't verify that though.
