Greg,

    As I understand it, HP has to fund the development of Oracle on the
3000.  So HP has to decided that they will spend the money for (and
perhaps resources) to get the latest versions on the 3000.  At this point,
I don't think HP is really interested in further developing Oracle on the
3000.  They do want to keep the Oracle Gateway but that is it.  And from
what I have heard, the Gateway is the main piece being used on the 3000
today.
