Probably a pacing (ENQ-ACK/XON-XOFF) issue then. Small printouts can
get sent in one "chunk", larger printouts need to do pacing and hang up.
Check/adjust the profile for your printer in NMMGR. (Can't help with the
details, it's been a LONG time since I've config'd a printer on a DTC).
