My 2c worth.
Don't put Netware onto your HP3000. It's a dead duck.
Rather put an NT server alongside the HP3000.
Get NS running on your 937, and connect PC's on the LAN using Reflection
and HP3000 connect (I think HP3000 connect is included in latest
versions.
Use MS WFW 3.11 plus MS TCPIP 32 bit stack or Windows 95 on the PC's.
Their will be slight "hit" on your 937 as the users get off serial and
onto NS. Each user will be serviced by a VTSERVER process, and these can
add up. Wait for 5.5 for inbound telnet to see if it uses less resources
(I hope it does!).
Put your printers (LaserJets) on the LAN with JetDirect cards, and let NT
control them.
Use NbSpool or something similar on the HP3000 to move print files to the
NTserver, or wait for MPE5.5 for Lan printer support.
NT's FTP will happily connect to the HP3000 for big file transfers (and
vice versa).
Put the WWW server onto your HP3000 and set up an "Intranet" so that your
users get their reports in a sexy gui way.

I must soon convert my serial connections from PC s to a Series 937SX
to a PC network.  I am concerned about degradation of HP3000
performance if I attempt to convert it to a network server using
Netware/ix, and I am not quite sure what the cons are to networking
an Intel server with the Series 937SX.  The PC Lan (Departmental)
will be connected to an agency wide area network.  Netware/ix vs.
Intel Server?
