Lotus Notes Mail has an additional feature where you can specify e-mail
addresses not to send out of office messages.  You can specify internet
mail, so you don't have to remember all the listservs.

Actually, it's partly the e-mail client's fault.  Outlook recognizes who
has
already been sent an out-of-office reply and won't send one on subsequent
receipts of e-mail from that sender.

At least, that's the way it works here.
