Subject: Data base connectivity from the HP3000 to other platforms.

Does anyone know how to connect to data bases on other platforms i.e. NT,
Unix via something like ODBC from the HP3000? We would like to talk to
both an Oracle data base on an NT server and to an Image data base from a
program running on MPE/iX.

I've been testing a product called BridgeMaster from Linkway in the U.K.
phone is 44 (0) 1905 794400 or www.csllink.com I've connected a Cobol
program via ODBC to a SQL Server database on NT and to Allbase/ImageSql via
ODBCLINK/SE. I've executed query on both machines. Still to come a test to
DB2/400 on an AS/400. Seems to work as advertised.
