I must recant part of my previous post.  There is, in fact, a web page for 3000 support at HP's web site.  It does not have any links I could find for end-of-support information, but a search turned up the following page that details support dates for all 9x9 series machines:

HP announced long ago that K class servers will be supported through 2006.  Their support web site does not acknowledge the existence of HP 3000's, so I can't confirm that nothing has changed, but I have heard nothing to make me think it has.
