Hey Ron (and friends),
Thanks for reminding us of your recent volunteering service. Of all
who wonder what OpenMPE is doing, at least you know what the trenches
looked like, working under an assumed CDA and having HP attribute
none of their supplements to your advocacy.

As to the point of new hardware to host MPE, when you could learn
newer hardware for another environment -- there's those pesky
applications, aren't there? Move them or rewrite them, their business
rules must remain a resource for a company. A migrated MPE is a big
step; some might say near impossible. But hardware to act like
PA-RISC, for the benefit of any 3000 apps living on into the
20-Teens? I'd say likely.
