I guess, the "rule of thumb" is Bug = "does not work as documented",
but this is just my personal guess... corrections are very welcome.

I absolutely have to agree with you, I love the OpenDESK Mobile GUI
for Windows (although the Motif GUI is also quite nice). In fact, I'm
using both of them (one at home, one at the office) -- but please do
not tell HP, as I'm probably supposed to only use OpenMAIL ;-)

Yes, I've seen this "feature" and in fact used it to transfer messages
from one mailbox to another using the PC folders as "staging area". I've
even managed to move messages from my OpenDESK mailbox (on one of our
local test machines) to my regular OpenMAIL mailbox this way...

I never considered the security implications of this (PC and security?).

PS: I wonder how many HPDESK users are aware of or using the GUI clients...
