I don't have a clue about configuring the modem, but I am mystified by
Gregory's last sentence above. How is it that a program would work with a
serial connection, but not a network connection? I'm thinking that it must
use some kind of non-standard interface, right?
Oh, well, while I'm trying to figure that out, I guess I;ll have another
enchilada! :-)
