Lots of folks use third party UPS systems on their 3k. We like (and sell)
Liebert and APC units. Depending on what is internal to your cpu, you'll need a
minimum unit of 1400 to 2200 VA for your 967. Any name brand unit in that range
will switch over quick enough to make the 967 power supply happy.
