I don't want to sound like a simpleton, I understand the low priority machine check may point to a larger problem.

Go into sysgen, turn low priority machine check off, keep it and reboot, until a CE shows up.  (It's what I would do on a Friday, since I'm on 24 hour turnaround, it would take until Monday for one to show up).
