Smells like a bad case of MPEJXV9B. If you have installed this patch on
your machine, recursive "rm -r" is broken, and leaves empty directories with
non-zero user counts. Thus you can't complete the purge because MPE thinks
there are active users.
You'll need to reboot your machine to reset the user counts to zero.
As a recursive directory purge workaround, use :PURGEDIR ;TREE. Then open an
HPRC call and complain that MPEJXV9B has messed up your machine. Feel free to
