What is the NETWORK option in the predictive setup files... can you send
things directly to HP that way?

I didn't have to pull any teeth to have predictive on our V2250 (*and* the
test station) use a modem.
In fact, the installing CE never even mentioned the e-mail option.
I just checked predictive on my 3000 6.0 machine (the latest predictive
patch),
and there doesn't seem to be any e-mail option yet for MPE.
