In COBOL on a 918 running 5.5pp4 I wrote a little program to open a file in
the posix namespace,
write a record to it and close it. When I look with :LISTFILE ./@,2 or
:LISTFILE ./@,2;TEMP I don't
find my file and the program looks as if it works perfectly OK. I'm using
the clause of the SELECT
statement that allows you to specify a filename as a variable in the
WORKING-STORAGE section
which you set before the OPEN statement. I'm providing the filename
./MARK.txt

What's happening here?
