Those types are I believe HP real types. And SQL and many other systems
now use IEEE real types, which HP now supports on their not-new any more
PA-RISC architecture. You can extract the data and change the image
databases to hold the IEEE real datatypes convert the extracted data and
put it back. The other option is when the data is read out convert it
then. I think there is an option in HP Pascal to allow dual declaration of
the two different internal storage of real numbers within the same
program.
