Just when I thought I had this networking thing all figured out, I get this
stuff. The medium-size boss (not as big as the big boss, who's not as big
as the BIG boss) wants a network card for his notebook computer. Turning to
my trusty mail-order catalog (we're a hour away from any kind of computer
store) I look for portable network cards of the PCMCIA variety (the kind
that I'm familiar with). Instead I find a bunch of PC CardBus cards.

What are these things?

Are they compatible with PCMCIA?

IOW, can I use a PC CardBus card in a PCMCIA slot? Or must I buy the PCMCIA
card? Thanks, as always, for your help.
