Trouble installing firmware patch

I need to install a scsi FAST & WIDE firmware patch for the HP3000 to be able to recognize a 36 Gbytes drive on my system.



I downloaded the tar file ISFW3944 and uncompressed it.  According to the HP instructions it should have the following format:



FILENAME CODE ------------LOGICAL RECORD----------- ----SPACE---

ISFW3944         SIZE     TYP           EOF         LIMIT          R/B       SECTORS  #X MX 

                          80B      FA           8198        204800         3             2576         5   * 

Instead I get:

ISFW3944      1B   BA     846593  2147483647 1      3312   5 *

I tried to convert to 80B wide using patchix or fcopy without much success.  What sofware should I use to get the proper format?
