Ah, yes, but the question is, do I really want to be in the business of selling HP3000 stuff--a question, which answered, may explain my approach; it has taken a considerable amount of "real estate" and the appreciation factor, in most cases, has been rather low, if present at all--but appreciated [Thanks, Wyell!].

I have found that the site traffic was very low and I suspect, for the most part, the number of people who might actually be interested in purchasing said CD would be virtually nill--but I felt a responsibility to those who--in spite of everything--might still want the information and might be willing to pay for the materials, basic preparation, shipping and handling [and those who know my work can appreciate that the documentation will be at the highest standards possible].

My apologies about the $20 charge for the MPE on the web site--it will be changed to $10 this evening!

There will be more information about contents on the site next week.

The members of the HP3000-L have received some powerful shocks this past year--not the least of which is the announcement of the end of MPE by HP; there have been--in my opinion--a lot of lies associated with the termination of the HP3000, and, for those of you who have read my book, it should come as no surprise that there has been an ensuing apathy.

There is a lot of work ahead, and, in my case, it appears that the work will not involve MPE to any appreciable extent--while I may want to ease the load for others, I do not have a vested stake in the HP3000 any longer.

I do wish everyone well, for this is the place where I have found some of the most brilliant people in the world and, for the most part, the nicest people in the world.

Some of you may have noticed that Birket has been at it again, and will be offering a JDBC shortly!

Good going, Birket!

shouldn't that read "a charge for HP3000 Tools", and btw you'd be a lot more
likely to sell something if it's described, at least a bit, on the web page.
