Hi.

Does anyone have any pattern matching routines? I'm looking for something
that I can call
from COBOL that will do a pattern match (ie wildcarding or regexp) on
variable length
strings. ie..

CALL "PMATCH" USING A-STRING, A-STRING-LEN, A-PATTERN, A-PATTERN-LEN GIVING
DID-IT-MATCH.

or something like that... I'm looking for a binary OBJECT file with source
code. I've got the gnu C++ compiler on
the HP3000 but have no (real) experience of C

Thanks in advance.
