We are happy to announce that "ODBC Boot Camp", by MB Foster, has been
added to the Fall Semester schedule of Tech Group University. It is a one
day course scheduled for Wednesday, September 19th. Details, costs, and
registration can be found at the University web site (www.TechGroupMD.com).

ODBC has helped open up enterprise data to many end users. Although new
technology and data access methods are delivering the promise of "self
service data access", many IT departments and users still have difficulty.

The ODBC Boot Camp allows you to refresh and retune your ODBC knowledge
with in-depth training covering:

Understand more about Connecting to Data Sources such as IMAGE/SQL,
ALLBASE/SQL or Oracle,
Be aware of Technical Considerations such as Performance, Security, Data
Types and Database differences,
Take into account the End User Access Considerations such as navigation,
joins and the Application Workflow.
Client configuration for “today’s” desktop tools
Development Tools and much, much more

Thanx,
  Jonathan (Jon) M. Backus, MPE-CSM ~ President
