As long as they GET CLOSER than where they were before, it doesn't
matter. The sentence is still geographically correct.
(As long as you throw the inflexion of "in Cupertino" to refer back to
Allegro Consultants Inc. and not necessarily HP, maybe a comma between
"headquarters" and "in Cupertino." would help also.)
