Hey John,
I was actually given a ball park of 40-50k from Quest with my
current environment just the other day, but seriously, the NFS/iX solution
is only applicable if it's like 5k not near 50k. I understand that it's
really the only NFS Client / Server for the HP3000, but I can't see myself
paying that much for it. There were a lot of cool ideas that came out from
this post which were hardly any cost at all, and to all who replied, I thank
you. The whole purpose for NFS in my situation was to save money by
eliminating a machine or two and simplifying a process. If you get near the

I think WRQ used to have one, I am sure it is not freeware, but it may
(or may not) be more cost effective.
