Hi Denys :) (Not Paul but Hi to Paul too :) )
well... thinking there may be a tongue in cheek somewhere here... I
think I like that it prints after the reboot... but bit bothered that the
printer queue basically quits sending things to the printer successfully
and IIRC flags a printing error and happily ignores my cussing and threats
at it... dang hardware and software! :)
Personally, I am trying to find time to look on the net... think I may
need a new driver... 'course it may just be Mickey$oft'd and need a patch
to fix it ;)
Or maybe this is a 3 beer puzzle and I only had me 2 so far :)

Hello Art,
I apologize, my name is not Paul, but I thought I would answer your
question. With another question.
So, I think I need a little more information here. Are you
complaining that Windows XP is not tossing out the spoolfile when you
reboot? Well, guess what, it happened to me also. I mistakenly sent
a printout to the printer in my office, but I was traveling at the
time so it didn't print right away.
I usually put my system in standby when I go from one place to
another, (plane, trains or automobiles for weeks on end,) but one
time, I restarted my system when I got home and guess, what the
spoolfile printed to my HP CP1700, unadulterated.
If you think this is a problem, you should submit it to MS and have
them issue a speciqal patch to purge all your outstanding spoolfile
after a reboot. Please ask them not to make it a general release, I
like the feature.
Why did you reboot Windows XP in the first place? :-)
Denys
