i don't think there is an equivalent...but i wish there was. for those
wondering, there are (at least?) two mpe commands that almost do the same thing
-- return (but it doesn't accept a parameter) and escape (that does accept a
parameter but it sets hpcierr). there is 'exit' too -- but it terminates the
command interpreter (and in this case....that's not what's needed :-).
so maybe the hardest part to the 'solution' is to pick a word for the command
that would (eventually?) provide the same functionality as posix
'exit'? - d
