I will third it... and I will add:
For anyone planning on following Wirt's very good suggestion,
make sure you have the latest edition of the manual... actually,
*everyone* working with IMAGE should get the current edition:
TurboIMAGE/XL Database Management System
Reference Manual
Sixth Edition -- August 1997 (E0897)
HP Part Number = 30391-90001
The previous edition was April 1994, so there is a large amount
of new material in the August 1997 edition relating to all the
new features in IMAGE (B-Trees, DDX, etc.). I also concur
that the latest IMAGE manual is one of the best CSY has put
out for the 3000....
SIDEBAR trivia question and exercise for IMAGE users (no fair
responding if you are on the SIGIMAGE Executive Committee):
What new IMAGE feature does the DSEM acronym stand for;
and what is it ??.... The latest IMAGE manual will tell you; but
I have a sneaky suspicion that this feature is not very widely
known yet....
